2025 Assembly Redesign Task Force Information
At the November 2024 Assembly, a Task Force was formed for Redesigning our Oregon Area Assemblies in order to carry forward all that we had learned from the 2024 Thought Force on the frequency of Assemblies. Our thanks goes out to that Thought Force which provided a lot of information about what our Al-Anon members like and do not like about our Assemblies. During this past year, our task force has learned a lot from our Al-Anon members in service to the Oregon Area. As our group reps prepare to vote on the options for future Assemblies at the November 2025 Assembly, our task force thought some members may want to review the steps taken this year to get to this point. So we are posting each report here for ease of review:

As a result of the foregoing, in September 2025, the AWSC voted in favor of bringing forward to the November Assembly the following two-part motion:
Part A: Vote on whether to have two Assemblies per year or three Assemblies per year.
Part B: Vote on whether to have one-day Assemblies or one-and-a-half day Assemblies.
